When sending payments to Malawi, ensure that you obtain all the necessary bank information from the beneficiary, including the SWIFT BIC, account number, and the beneficiary bank's address. The following formatting rules apply:

Ordering Customer (SWIFT MT103 F50): Provide the account number, full name (without using initials), and address of the ordering customer. Avoid using initials to prevent delays in fund receipt by the beneficiary.

Beneficiary Customer (SWIFT MT103 F59): Include the account number, full name (no initials), and full address of the beneficiary customer. Again, avoid initials to ensure timely receipt of funds.

Beneficiary Bank (SWIFT MT103 F57): Provide the SWIFT BIC with a branch identifier (if necessary), along with the full name and address of the beneficiary bank. The SWIFT BIC consists of 8 or 11 alphanumeric characters, such as xxxxMWxx or xxxxMWxxxxx.

Reason for Payment (SWIFT MT103 F70): It is recommended to include the purpose of the payment.
